Can I pick these condensers up from auto parts stores ? If so what do I ask for ? Just one rated at .30 ? Sorry for my ignorance on this stuff .. Trying to find parts have been fruitless . Seems most online stores parts list only go back around 1957 or so . I would like to find points if there out there . Do you just replace the contacts or the whole arm ?

You mean like stack plates together to extend the mounting hole spacing on each side ? What material would be used to make laminates or would you use a solid conductor on each side ?May 26, 2020 at 10:08 am #204055May 26, 2020 at 10:22 pm #204121So those laminates can be removed from the coil without destroying the coil ?
I will place an add in the classified section first to see if I can find the right one to start with .. Then go from there ..May 27, 2020 at 9:28 am #204143June 15, 2020 at 7:47 am #205763No luck so far finding an original coil . I made a short vid of the spark I’m getting with the one I have . Does this look sufficient .
I am beginning to wonder if my problem may be elsewhere .. https://youtu.be/6IR6QbDXsEM
