July 21, 2015 at 6:10 pm #20557If I got involved in facebook I wouldn’t have time for this site.

I live in Northwest IndianaJuly 22, 2015 at 7:11 pm #20621Tried it. Facebook is not for me.
July 22, 2015 at 7:27 pm #20623I agree, Facebook does not appear to have any lasting informative value and I feel it is simply a big "time-suck". Why people are so intrigued with the stream-of-consciousness vomit that is spewed up there (by most) is beyond me. 😯

July 23, 2015 at 8:49 pm #20721No FB for me, nothing I’m doing is worth advertising that way.
July 24, 2015 at 3:04 am #20742For all of those nay-saying Facebook (and I hate it myself, for different reasons than those listed,) if you want younger members to join the group you’re going to have to reach out via it and other social media.
Which, I think, is the driving point behind this thread.
July 24, 2015 at 4:45 pm #20761FB is only as private or public as you set your account up to be. It can be set so only selected friends can view it or communicate with you. It can be a useful tool if used sensibly and can be more private than the public forums here which the whole world can view. ❗
