    Ok I’m assuming the the correct color is the lighter color dull aluminum.. Debating which color would be easier to change . Everything has clear on it .
    The tank ,front cover, plug covers , and mounting bracket are all the darker color . Everything else is I assume the correct lighter color . What are my chances of taping off the decals without tearing them up .
    There is 4 light coats of clear on the decals before I installed them ..

    It looks pretty nice. I think I’d be tempted to leave well enough alone.

    If it were me, I would leave the tank alone and use whatever color you used on the tank as your standard. JMHO

    Repotint sent me a can of paint pretty quickly . Repainted the all the darker color . The mounting brackets still seem a little darker color but I think it looks ok …

    I also had a problem with Reprotint Dull Aluminum paint with two different shades. Other than the Dull Aluminum, I haven’t noticed differences in the other colors.

    Nice job on the restoration! Looks like a nice show motor!

    Not to much longer .. I plan on taking it to the Yellow Jacket meet in sept . I’m probably gunna need some help getting it tuned in correctly from the guys down there . LOL!
    Almost have the steering together . And the Lexan I am using for the windshield should be in this week . Having to deal with this Hurricane at the moment ..
