SUMMARY:Roger DeBiassi Memorial River Cruise
DESCRIPTION:DNR Harley Ensign boat launch at the East end of South River Road\,… the mouth of the Clinton River \, Lake Saint Clair. Exit #237 from I-94. \nWe will meet at the launch site at 9 AM. Launch boats onto the Clinton River and cruise upriver for about an hour and a half\, turn around and return to the launch site. It is a comfortable 3 hour cruise\, no wake all the way so small boats and put – put speeds are the order of the day. After returning boats will be trailered and we take a short drive to the Octopus Beer Garden restaurant in Mount Clemens for a nice leisurely lunch. The restaurant is a popular full-service restaurant situated on the shore of the river. DESCRIPTION:The meet is held at the Benona Township Swimming Beach on Stony Lake \nThere is a pit toilet on site. Pizza will be provided for lunch but bring your own chair and beverages. There is no launch ramp at the site but it is only about 100 ft to carry a boat to the seawall. There is a steep\, rough launch ramp on Stony Lake at Stony Lake County Park about a mile away but you may need 4WD to use it. Make sure to bring an anchor to hold your boat at the seawall. SUMMARY:Texas AOMCI Chapter – 32nd Annual Louis Rothermel Swap Meet
DESCRIPTION:Louis Rothermel wishes to invite you to his 32nd Annual Houston Swap Meet on the weekend of November 6th through 8th.  \nFriday is usually the day of arrival and most individuals will show up throughout the day. Some selling and trading usually occurs\, but the majority of the activity will fall on Saturday.  We open at 9:00AM and Louis will provide coffee\, soft drinks\, and donuts on Friday morning.  Lunch is usually handled by ordering burgers. We normally wrap things up by 6:00PM.  \nSaturday is the heart of the meet and we will start at 9:00AM. Louis will provide the usual coffee\, soft drinks\, and donuts.  We usually order in lunch by 1:00PM from Pappas Barbecue for a $10 per person fee for all you can eat. Throughout the day\, we will be visiting\, buying\, selling\, etc. Although you are encouraged to bring some motors for display\, please help spice up the meet by bringing a motor or motors that you no longer want and any parts that you would like to share with other members. We will probably end the Saturday activity at 6:00PM.  \nSunday is a work on motors day. Bring your motors if you want to clean them up or get advice on how to repair them. We will open again at 9:00AM with beverages and donuts and we will stay until 6:00PM if necessary\, Lunch will probably be leftover B-B-Q. If you have never attended this meet\, you do not know what you are missing.
