Our Annual Business/Election Meeting will be held on Friday evening this year before dinner\, so don’t miss out on this and the other events happening that evening. Please plan to bring any swap meet items you want to sell to this meet. Come early Friday and get set up. We will start our first cruise after lunch.\nIf you would like to camp\, there will be 3-4 camp sites available for motor homes with full hook-ups for $20.00 per day (reservations required). DESCRIPTION:Meet starts on Thursday July 11th. Nobody is allowed on the grounds before Thursday. The meet ending date is Sunday July 14th and everyone should be off the grounds by 5:00pm. As for activities\, the featured motor this year are rowboat motors. You will see many rare motors out on the water and in the display tent. Other activities are seminars that are planned for Thursday thru Saturday. Friday night ends with a free dinner provided by the MOB chapter consisting of BBQ\, Cole slaw and potato salad.\nIf RBM’s are not your thing\, there will be times out on the water for all kinds of motors. The Constantine Cup is a tradition and much sought after trophy. More details will be provided later on. A list of seminars will also be provided as well. The “Swap and Sell” area will be full of items for sale or trade. Make sure you get your reservations in early. As for motels in the area\, Super 8\, American Inn and Holiday Inn Express are all in Three Rivers Michigan\, about 10 miles north of Constantine. SUMMARY:Tomahawk Nationals
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 day meet – July 30\, 31\, August 1\, 2. We use the hockey arena to set up outboard motors & boats for display and judging by AOMCI members. The swap area is an old air strip & soccer field. The city of Tomahawk is responsible for camping & vending spaces that you can rent from them at 715-453-4040. Over 100 camping & vending sites are available. Quite a few are spoken for already\, but there is plenty of room for everybody. There are no hookups. The arena bathrooms\, which include showers\, will be available to campers. You can set up your spot at the event NO SOONER THAN MONDAY JULY 30 AT 10 A.M. We also supply a number of port-a-potties for everyone’s convenience. The meet cost will be $10 that covers ALL 4 DAYS. We have judging in 13 divisions & 6 on-water events\, consisting of: stock & mod Zephyr\, stock Merc KF5/Mark 5\, any 5-1/2 1959 or older motor\, predicted log and a blind folded event for which the Northwoods Chapter provides the boat & motor. The stock Zephyr Merc KF5/Mark 5 & the 1959 & 5-1/2 HP or older events require a 12 ft. factory boat or larger. Mod Zephyr motors have to be Zephyr-based with any boat. Predicted log can be run with any boat & motor.\nRegistration opens every morning at 8:00 AM with coffee & bakery.
