SUMMARY:9th Annual Lipan Swap Meet - Texas Outboard Motor Club
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nTony and Andrea Robinson have once again volunteered to hold a swap meet at their home in Lipan\, Texas. They live on the edge of town on 1.26 acres and have a nice shop area that is great for hosting a meet. There is also a large test tank for running outboards. The heart of this meet will be on Saturday\, but individuals are welcome to arrive early on Friday to start the fun. There will be a catered lunch on Saturday for a reasonable fee per person. Tony has indicated that guests are welcome on Sunday\, however he will be attending church that morning. He also offers his camper to anyone wishing to use it\, but you must call to reserve it.\nGranbury\, Texas is 18 miles from Tony’s home and is a quaint destination town. Granbury has numerous restaurants\, a town square\, breweries\, wineries\, marina on Lake Granbury\, opera theater house\, railroad museum to name just a few things. All displays must be set up on Thursday\, no setup is allowed on Friday.\nAdmission has changed a little this year. From the Kalua Beach Bar\, east\, including the ramp that the sea planes use\, our displays\, including vendor row\, and the Glaspar club displays are open to the public. A wristband is needed to view the boats on the docks and displays west of the Kalua Bar and Restaurant. For our members with a display there is a $ 10 fee which includes a wrist band. If you would like to walk up and look at the boats on the dock\, we will have wristbands available for $10. SUMMARY:White Water Lake Splashdown
DESCRIPTION:The meet will be held at the boat launch area at White Water Lake. \nWhen you get to the park go to the left and we will be in the parking lot at the launch area. \nThis is a meet for those that like to run their motors on a scenic mid size lake. There are a couple of docks available and plenty of shoreline to pull up on to switch up motors etc. The pavilion at the park has flush toilets available just short walk from the launch. Coffee and Tim bits will be available dockside and a BBQ lunch will be held at my RV site in the park. The launch is on a bay that is perfect for running smaller motors and the large part of the lake is great for running just about anything else\, the adventurous can run up Levy Creek all the way to Moore lake which takes about an hour or so each way.
