DESCRIPTION:One of the most picturesque meets on the MOB calendar. Located on Lake Loramie\, the Earl’s Island meeting site has plenty of parking and a wonderful pavilion for our meet. Make sure you arrive early and stay late. Lunch will be provided and a donation can will be on the table. The park has restrooms available. SUMMARY:Whitewater Lake Splashdown
DESCRIPTION:The meet is held at the public boat launch at Whitewater Lake Park. There is plently of parking and dock area. \nBring your boats and motors to run but if you don’t have a boat to bring we will have a couple of spares to run motors on. The launch area is on a sheltered bay suitable for small boats but the lake is large enough to run just about anything you care to bring except race boats. The waters edge is a good place to swap out motors and pull up onto the beach. There are washrooms available at the pavillion just a short walk from the launch. I have a seasonal site in the campground where lunch will be held\, as the campground is attached you’re welcome to stay for the weekend and get lots of boating in\, join us Friday and Saturday night for a campfire. DESCRIPTION:This meet is the Spring National meet and highlights “Big Iron” motor over 30 cubic inches. A special award is awarded for the best running “Big Iron” motor. It is called the “Emmett Walls” trophy. Along with this award are the “Best” awards like Best original antique and classic motors\, best restored antique and classic outboard also favorite boat/motor combo. Restrooms are on site along with the Lakeview Inn restaurant next door. The main meet is on Saturday but many members arrive Friday afternoon\, get some pre-meet running time in and also stay over to Sunday to enjoy a peaceful day of boating. DESCRIPTION:Northern Michigan’s only AOMCI meet\, in scenic Traverse City. A great place to talk old outboards and see the Great Lakes premier vacation destination. Medalie Park\, located on Boardman Lake\, is locally known as Logan’s Landing. Pizza and pop will be ordered for lunch with a $6.00 donation. There will be a peoples’ choice formal show motor competition in the usual categories and we have added a barrel (running motor) event this year with ribbons awarded. Don’t forget your motor stands and a chair. Site has a pavilion\, bathrooms and a large parking area\, so bring a table for your good stuff to swap or sell. \nFrom North or East on East US31- Head southeast on US31 toward Creasthaven Ln.
