SUMMARY:Clark Gordon Estate Sale
DESCRIPTION:This one-day auction sale will liquidate the collection of the late Clark Gordon. The sale will be “Silent Auction” format. Tags will be attached to all sale items\, bidders enter their name and bid value. At 2 o’clock sharp\, the bidding will close\, the highest recorded bid takes the item. This will be a CASH ONLY sale\, payment must be made on the day of the auction.\nNO preview and NO early sales\, PLEASE don’t ask! The barn doors open on Saturday at 9 AM.\nThere are about 45 outboards\, a couple of RBM’s \, most are 1930 – 40’s most in fair to good “as-found” condition… Clark was pretty selective in what he picked-up. A mix of brands\, NOT the usual bunch of 50’s OMC that one often encounters. BOAT \, one wood lapstrake 14ft Sorg\, with trailer and Mercury.\nTake a look at the photos… the plan is to liquidate all of these items on the day of the auction\, clean out the barn… most items will NOT have a reserve. \nLocation; The pole barn at the home of the late and great club member Clark Gordon\, Located at the north end of White Lake. Located about 10 Miles east of US23\, north of M59. From Michigan hwy M59 > North on Duck Lake Rd. > East on Giddings Blvd > to Pleasant View Dr. \nContacts:  Joe Brincat by e-mail fixerjo at sbcglobal dot net \nMeet Type:\n\nDry

SUMMARY:Dossin Great Lakes Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Dossin Maritime Museum Meet\, Saturday July 23 \, 2022 \nOn the shore of the Detroit River\, beautiful Belle Island. \nI have confirmed that our meet at the Dossin is all set to go. Last years meet was very well attended. We plan on even a bigger show this year because our meet falls on the weekend that the Detroit Historical Society is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary. We expect a large public turn-out in response to promotion of the anniversary. The museum will have special displays and I understand that a food vendor cart has been lined up for Saturday.\nIt should be a good show… lets do our part in making it special. The newly redone grounds we will allow us to display several boats along with a large assortment of motors and the test tank so we can make some smoke and noise. Mark your calendars\, see you at the Dossin. \nWe will have a very special\, perhaps “once -in – a- lifetime” display of very rare early outboards. On display will be the only known 1906 Air Cooled Waterman and the earliest known outboard propulsion device\, the 1892 Salisbury Electric. Additionally\, we hope to have the Cameron Waterman prototype Curtiss motorcycle engine that started “it” all. \n\nFor more information\, contact Joe Brincat \nContacts:  Joe Brincat\nfixerjo@sbcglobal.net \nMeet Type:\n\nDry\nDisplay
