SUMMARY:Whitewater Lake Splashdown
DESCRIPTION:The meet will be held in the boat launch area where there is plenty of parking a paved ramp\, docks and lots of space to pull up on shore.\nHere is a link to the city website: https://www.greatersudbury.ca/play/campgrounds-and-trailer-parks/whitewater-lake-trailer-park/\nIf you are so inclined you can book a campsite and spend the whole weekend \nWe will start the day with coffee and timbits at 8am. This is a meet for those that love to run motors. Whitewater lake is large enough to run as large a motor as you want and the bay where the launch is provides a sheltered area to run the little guys. Lunch will be served in the trailer park at my campsite\, Burgers and sausages will be on the grill with soft drinks provided $10.00 to help with costs. The afternoon will be more boating and if there is enough interest we can take a long cruise up Levy Creek through a beautiful wetland to Moore Lake. There is washroom at the pavilion and the city usually has a portapotty at the launch area. DESCRIPTION:There is plenty of boat launch space and parking\, rest rooms\, lots of space in the parking lot for swapping and displaying your motors\, parts etc. for judging and for sale or swap. The lake is fairly remote\, so running hydroplanes and making a bit of noise is not an issue. There is a fishing contest that goes on at the same time\, but there is never an issue or conflict\, lots of space for one and all! \nLocated Just off Route I-88 near Unadilla\, NY\, take the Franklin Exit (Route 357). As you travel\, you will see the dam and just as you pass that you will see the entrance to the campground.
