DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this meet is to provide initial funding for the ‘Sam Vance III AOMCI Club Perpetuation Foundation’ by passing ownership of all Sam Vance Estate boating related assets to fellow AOMCI members in exchange for donations to the foundation. As such\, there will be no motor displays or events as part of the meet other than by the estate. \nLunch will be available for an $8 donation. Please notify Bill Shattuck by April 28 if you would like lunch so that enough will be available. \nThe meet will be held indoors. Bring your own chairs if desired. A port-a-potty will be available on site. \nFor a listing of most items and meet rules contact Bill Shattuck \nParking will be limited at the meet location. SUMMARY:Spring Lake Webster Meet
DESCRIPTION:This meet is held on the grounds of the City Park in North Webster Indiana. This pavilion is right on the water on Lake Webster so bring your boat and cruise around. Awards will be handed out for Favorite Original and Restored classic\, antique motor along the favorite Boat Motor combo. There is a boat ramp right next to the park and even a restaurant available. Those arriving on Friday night usually meet up and have an informal dinner. Saturday is the most active day with all the main activities scheduled that day. If you have some unwanted outboard or motor parts\, bring them to the meet and pass them along. For those who stay until Sunday\, weather permitting\, we still go on a cruise around the lake. Please make sure to attend. \nMen and women bathroom facilities are available. There is plenty of space to display your prize motor. All along the front of the pavilion and over at the large parking lot will be the “swap and sell” area. If you arrive early there will be coffee and donuts. DESCRIPTION:Located on NYS Route 30 in Wells\, NY on Lake Algonquin\, the meet is about 25 miles North of the City of Amsterdam\, NY. Look for the MH AOMCI sign. \nHeld at Tim Cantele’s family camp\, the location supports the use of boats that can dock at Tim’s and some of his neighbors. There is a boat launch on the opposite site of the lake. A rowboat will be available for those who want to run a small (10 HP or less) motor. A chicken dinner is available for $10 (advance reservation is appreciated) plus there will be burgers and dogs. Coffee and donuts in the morning\, free will offering donations accepted and will go to the town ambulance corp. DESCRIPTION:Come on out\, bring your boat and run the winter cob webs out of that motor. Big Fish Lake is in the Ortonville State Recreation Area. All vehicles must display a current Michigan “Recreation Passport” license plate sticker or pay a day use fee to enter. No “open exhaust” or loud motors on this lake. There will be no open swap and sell at this meet. There is a nice picnic area near complete with a shelter and rest rooms. SUMMARY:White Water Lake Splashdown
DESCRIPTION:The meet will be held at the boat launch area where there is plenty of room to dock larger boats or pull little ones up on the shore. This location provides plenty of boating options from putting around in the bay or taking a long ride on the open lake. The parking area is suitable for sale stuff and there is a large grass area just next to the parking area also available. Washrooms are available in the pavilion a short walk from the launch. DESCRIPTION:The commercial property owned by the estate of Felix Pytlinske is located about 5 miles east of Grand Haven along the Grand River \nThe meet will be held at what once was Felix’s Marina. There is a pit toilet at the site and plenty of buildings for us to set up in should the weather be bad. There is a launch ramp providing access to Stearn’s Bayou and the Grand River. No food or drink will be provided\, but there is a WESCO gas station / convenience store about half a mile away that makes excellent pizza.
