Hannibal\, MO (Mark Twain’s home town) to Quincy\, IL river run will be on Friday 9/13/2019. Seventeen nautical mile run with support boats and one Mississippi River lockage through Lock & Dam #21. Twenty or so boats make the annual trek. Leave Hannibal\, MO at 1pm on Friday 9/13/2019. Transportation for boat captains back to to Hannibal to pick up vehicles and trailers will be provided. Saturday three mile river run North to private Island club for supper and sunset cruise back to Quincy. Swap meet all weekend long Fri – Sat – Sun. Permit to use Quincy bay Friday\, Saturday and Sunday to demonstrate classic boats and motors operation at all speeds. DESCRIPTION:Download Flier Here \nLocated in the town boat launch at Dock Street in downtown Schroon Lake Village\, the meet is just off Route 9\, which is parallel to the Adirondack Northway (route 87). Get there from exits 27 (heading north) or 28 (heading south) to Route 9 into the Village. Dock Street is located at the Stewart’s Shop. \nADA Accessible restrooms\, coffee and donuts in the AM and pizza at noon for a free will offering. SUMMARY:MOB Lake Webster Fall Super Meet
DESCRIPTION:The fall meet highlights the “Under 30 Cubic Inch” motor. The John Sudlow Trophy will be awarded for the best running small motor. Other awards will be handed out. There will be plenty of display area under the pavilion and lunch will be provided. It is asked that everyone bring a covered dish or dessert to share. Members start to arrive as early as Friday afternoon and stay over to Sunday to take advantage of running the old iron. Saturday is the mail event with all the awards/trophy’s\, display and luncheon on that day. After the luncheon a short business meeting will be held for elections of officers and setting the next year’s schedule. In the afternoon an auction will be held under the old tree so please bring your old unwanted items to pass along. Among the awards given out are the “Favorite” awards for restored\, original and boat/motor combinations. \nLake Webster is located in the heart of North Webster\, Indiana. North Webster is located on Indiana SR 13 about 10 miles north of SR 30. Turn east on Himes Street and head about 4 blocks until you come to the City Park. DESCRIPTION:The meet will be held on a Sunday in the parking lot of the Park Marina. The entrance to the park is located at a traffic light about 5 miles north of the City of Delaware. Follow the signs along the Park roadway about one mile to the Marina \nThis is an informal meet for old-outboard enthusiasts to socialize\, show restored motors\, swap motors and parts\, and run motors on the lake. There are restrooms at the marina\, but the concession stand is usually closed at this time of the year\, so food will probably not be available. DESCRIPTION:Park admission is $8 per car in summertime\, it may be waived when we come. No extra fee for boats or trailers. The park opens at 8 am. I will bring coffee and donuts by 8:30.
