DESCRIPTION:At this time the Northwoods Chapter of the AOMCI has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Tomahawk Nationals scheduled to be held August 4-7 at Sara Park in Tomahawk. You can read the entire statement furnished by the Northwoods Chapter HERE.\nSara Park in Tomahawk WI From Hwy 51 use Tomahawk exit 86/D Exit 229. Go west on 86 approximately 5 miles to Sara Park.\nSPECIAL NOTE: THIS IS A 4-DAY MEET AUGUST 4\, 5\, 6\, 7\, 2020\n8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Aug. 4\, 5\, 6 and 8 am to 5 pm on Aug 7\nBanquet to follow meet on August 7 – tickets available at registration\nMeet registration cost is $10 for ALL 4 DAYS. \nThis is a 4-day meet. We have a hockey arena where we set up outboard motors and boats for display or judging. The swap area is an old air strip and soccer field. Spaces can be rented from the city of Tomahawk. Contact them at 715-453-4040 . Over 100 camping and vending sites are available\, plenty or room for everybody. The arena bathrooms are open 24/7 which also include showers. We have judging in 13 divisions and 6 on-water events consisting of: Stock & Mod Zephyr\, Stock Merc KF5/Mark 5\, 5-1/2 1959 or older\, predicted log\, and a blind person event – Northwoods chapter provides the boat & motor for this event. The stock Zephyr Merc KF5/Mark 5 and the 1959 5-1/2 HP or older events require a 12 ft. factory boat or larger. Mod Zephyr event motor has to be Zephyr based with any boat. Predicted log can be run with any boat or motor. Featured motors this year are Muncie/Neptune and Elgin and featured boats are any boat manufactured in Wisconsin. Full restroom with shower available. \nStu Fillinger will host the second time this year at his 20 acre lake. Port-a-potty will be provided\, coffee and donuts will be available in the morning with lunch around noon. Stu has an excellent fishing lake so bring your fishing pole and make sure you “wet a line”. SUMMARY:MH Summer Meet (formerly Mabee Farm Meet)
DESCRIPTION:The Museum is located just south of the crossing of Route 29 and Route 30\, which can be accessed from the south via the NYS Thruway at Amsterdam\, just follow route 30 North. From the western part of NYS from Route 29 or 20 or I90 to route 30. From upstate NY via the Adirondack Northway to Saratoga NY then west via Route 29. \nThere will be a port-a-potty available and coffee and donuts in the morning. No lunch will be served this year\, but there are a number of food venues\, some within walking distance of the Museum on Route 30. \nDue to current conditions\, masks must be worn\, and there will be some available for those who do not have them. Additionally a hand sanitizer station will be available.
