SUMMARY:Tomahawk Nationals
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 day meet\, August 3\, 4\, 5\, 6\, 2021. We will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of both Johnson and Elto outboards. They will also be our featured motors. We use the hockey arena to set up outboard motors for display and judging. The swap area is an old airstrip and soccer field. Display and camping spaces can be rented from the city of Tomahawk. You can contact them at 715-453-4040. Over 100 camping and vending sites are available. There are NO hookups. There is plenty of room for everybody. The arena bathrooms are open 24/7 which includes showers. Meet cost is $10 for ALL 4 DAYS. \nWe have judging in 13 divisions and 6 on-water events consisting of: stock & mod Zephyr\, stock Merc KF5/Mark 5\, any 5-1/2 1959 or older motor\, predicted log\, and a blind person event – Northwoods Chapter provides the boat and motor for this event. The stock Zephyr\, Merc KF5/Mark 5 and the 1959 & 5-1/2 HP or older events require a 12 foot factory boat or larger. Mod Zephyr motor has to be Zephyr based with any boat. DESCRIPTION:A port-a-potty is available in the parking lot of the museum\, where the meet is held. Members who attend the meet can get a discount admission to the museum which has the largest collection of deer heads in America. Coffee and donuts in the morning for a free will offering. \nLocated near the intersection (roundabout) of routes 29 and 30 north of the city of Amsterdam\, if taking the NYS Thruway\, take exit 27 to Amsterdam and head north on route 30.
