SUMMARY:Fall Lake Webster Meet
DESCRIPTION:Lake Webster is located in the heart of the town of North Webster\, Indiana\, just off of SR 13. Our event is held in the City Park right on the shores of the lake. We set up our display area under the large pavilion and also tie up our boats along the docks and shoreline. There are numerous motels and Air BnB’s in the area. Many members take advantage of the motels arriving on Friday to get an early start running their rigs. \nOfficial “Start Time” for both Friday and Saturday is 8 AM. \nFriday has no events scheduled as the “big” day is Saturday. Saturday starts off at the crack of dawn with members arriving to set up and get that good parking space. By around 10:00AM the meet is in full swing with both AOMCI and general public citizens checking out the displays along with the many items for sale. Usually at 12:00\, lunch is provided then a business meeting culminating with the awards given out. The awards are Favorite Original Antique and Classic\, Favorite Restored Antique and Classic along with the Favorite Boat/Motor Combo. A finial award handed out is the John Sudlow Trophy for the best performance of a small iron motor\, under 30 cubic inches. At 4:00pm\, the MOB is invited to go for a relaxing ride in the Dixie paddle wheel boat. It is a nice way to wrap up the day with a cruise around Lake Webster. \nMeet Type:\n\nWet\nSwap\nDisplay\nFormal\n\nContacts:  Capt’n Dave Tranter-260-213-1945\nRick Eichrodt-317-372-1506

SUMMARY:The “Roger DeBiasi Memorial River Cruise”
DESCRIPTION:The inaugural “Roger DeBiasi Memorial River Cruise” \n\n\n\n\nExit # 237 from I – 94. Proceed east on the SOUTH River Road to the DNR boat launch.\n\n\n\nCruise the Clinton River on Saturday September 23rd from the DNR Harley Ensign Boat Launch to the “Octopus Beer Garden” and return. We will launch from the DNR ramp site at 10:30 AM\, cruise up the river (no wake zone all the way!) stopping for a nice lunch at the “Octopus” at about noon. After a leisurely lunch\, head back to the DNR ramp. Estimated cruise time one way 1 hour- 20 minutes\, allowing an hour for lunch\, we are looking at about 4 hours total time. We have checked out the restaurant\, it’s a very popular full menu\, moderately priced establishment right on the river with ample dockage for small boats.\nOur “parade” of outboard boats will be led by Charlie Schmidt’s tug boat “The Leroy Brown”. If you don’t have a boat\, and would like to participate\, there may be room on the tug for a couple of extra passengers\, call Charlie\, space is limited…. The other option is to join the “cruisers’ at the restaurant for lunch.\nAn event like this has been contemplated for a couple of years\, this year its happening and hopefully will be an annual late summer “wet meet” for years to come.\nSaturday September 23rd is the date\, however in the event of foul weather\, set aside the following Saturday (30th) as a “rain day”.\nHope to see you at the launch for a fun day on the water.\nQuestions\, contact Joe Brincat ( fixerjo@sbcglobal.net)\nLocation information…\nDNR Harley Ensign Boat Launch – at the east end of the SOUTH River Road\, Exit #237 from I- 94\nThe Octopus Beer Garden – 152 NORTH River Road\, Mt.
