Johnson PO15 float

Any clever suggestions for how to fabricate or find an alternate float for a PO15? Looks like they were made of layers. If I were able to find enough usable layers from the two I have, would I crazy glue the layers and then coat the whole deal?

My PO’s float was falling apart to so I made one out of two modern floats. The smaller one is a common Merc float and the larger one was out of a 25 – 70 horse kit, I think. The larger one got bored out on the lathe to fit the smaller one.

There is an older thread here somewhere explaining the procedure but I can’t find it.

I have a spare Vacturi carb for the PO with a good float. I would gladly give you the float if you need one.
