Leroy’s  Site seems taken over ….

anyone know where  the original and  precious  contents went to ???

I wrote to the new Leroy….. asking where all the good OB stuff  ended up.

Hopefully  not just  turfed out  like the 17th century in Rollerball !

Over the years I’ve saved a few of his Ramblings in pdf format. Most are over 2.44 MB so I’d have to share through WeTransfer. This one for the 10s is under…

Edit: Tried twice, wouldn’t upload., it’s only 2.20 MB

make that the 13th century … for movie buffs

Librarian:  This way. Now, we’ve lost those computers, with all of the 13th century in them. Not much in the century. Just Dante and a few corrupt popes. But it’s so distracting and annoying. You’ve unlimited restrictions here, of course. But you have to come so, so many times. It all takes such effort.

Yes, you read that right. The librarian just dismissed the WHOLE OF THE 13th CENTURY that just disappeared from archival existence. That “Just Dante and a few corrupt popes” amount to “not much.” So I’m pausing in the middle of their conversation to have a moment of silence for the poor old 13th century” that just got wiped out. RIP, 13th century, RIP.

Well, this is me LeeRoy.   In November of last year, I met a guy (bought an old 5.5hp Evinrude from him) & he said he was a web designer.  I asked if he could help me add a search engine to my site.   SURE, but well you guessed it, apparently my old site was not secure & needed a lot of updating.   SO, a complete upgrade, to a new program, however initially I told him it was extensive with over 400 articles, (with some very detained).  I gave him a deposit,  He must have thought I had simple Blogs.  It appears he got in WAY over his head.   I have been bugging him for over 4 months, I NEED THIS BACK UP, at least the home page, with as much as he has & a note UNDER RECONSTRUCTION.   Yesterday (after another bugging e-mail) he called & accepted my offer for him to teach me the new method, so I CAN GET IT BACK GOING.  At least now I have what he has done & should be able to pick up and finish it.

It has become pretty obvious that his thoughts of his ability were greatly over rated.  I have a lot up updates to some articles (which I usually do constantly) & more to add.

My herd of old motors has increased to over 75.  Don’t ever get the second one & turn off the lights at night as they breed  in the dark.   I use my own articles as reference a lot, (that is basically why I started them).  And at age 87, they need to be up and running for others to use when I am gone (which my son will take over).

I have a upcoming seminar on fishing for a group of young teenagers & need it up so they can learn to tie fishing knots.

Thank you all for your support & concern.

                      LeeRoy
