      I have a 1956 Firestone 5hp that is missing the latches for the cowls. I’m not even sure exactly what they look like. Can someone provide a closeup pic or two?

      Of course, I am in the market for a pair, if anyone has some to spare…

        Here’s a photo or two of the front one on my ’58 5hp – the rear is the same. My hunch is that yours are the same but painted green. I’d think an email or call to Doug Penn would turn one or two of them up pretty quick. From our meet last weekend I know he’s knee-deep in Scott/Firestone/Corsair parts motors right now!

          Thanks Art. The pics are very helpful. I think you’re correct. My ’56 has green cowls, so I suspect that the latches are green, as well. I’ll give Doug a call.
