      Hi, I took apart and inspected the lower unit and after starting to re-assemble got stuck trying to insert the pump eccentric pin where the water pump eccentric meets prop shaft . Can anyone guide me through the steps for this install?

        The pin lies in a flat spot on the shaft. Stick it in place with a small dab of heavy grease or other sticky stuff. Then slide the eccentric down over it. Caution, grease is harmful to the impeller rotor so don’t go excessive with it.
