      Does anyone know where I can find a repair manual for a 1954 Johnson 5.5hp? Thank you

        The 10th Edition Johnson Service Manual would probably be the most useful.
        I’m not sure what the first edition that covered 1954 was, but the 10th
        does, and beyond into the 1960’s I believe.

        Prepare to be boarded!

              Steve D: Your posts include links which the site currently automatically flags as SPAM. It’s a glitch; admittedly it should not be happening.

              When that happens…..the post gets held until a site Moderator notices it and “releases it”. We are all volunteers….and this is NOT an automated process. It takes a Moderator to sign on to the site….notice the held post….and release it. Sorry for the problem; I understand that it can be frustrating.

              In the future; try and avoid including links…..see if that helps.

                Thanks for your help Seakaye. Sometimes links help though! I understand it’s all volunteer and I appreciate that, but helping someone with their problems/questions is all volunteer too!. It just seems like it shouldn’t be this hard or frustrating when you’re trying to contribute or help someone.

                    Here’s the “Condensed Service Data” for the 5.5 and others. I find that it’s a source for information that can be hard to find in the larger manuals.
