On my WB3 I’ve decided to go ahead and vapor blast the balance of the motor after liking how the transom clamps turned out. Thinking about not going back and painting them dull aluminum. Any thoughts on what if anything should be done to the parts? Leave them uncoated but is there a concern with the aluminum oxidizing? Paint them with a clear matte finish paint but is there a concern with adhesion to the bare aluminum?
