        I believe about 1985.

            I stand corrected – 1982 it is.

No problem Bob………fortunately I had kept a swag of sales pamphlets from that period

I have one -1982 confirmed. Sweet engine. With standard prop puts my pontoon boat on speaking terms with 30mph. Idles so low I can almost hear each cylinder fire 😉

Have others noticed the proliferation of companies offering outboard decals? Seems that there are a lot all of a sudden
                  .
Assuming that no one has swapped cowlings and/or messed with the decals…..a site like this can often make it easy to identify a motor’s year.
