      Hello,

      I tried my hand at rebuilding my great-grandfathers Johnson 5hp outboard (TD15) but, it needs more help than I can provide right now. Is there anyone in the midwest that rebuilds these engines I could reach out to? Especially if they’re around Southwest Michigan.

      As always thanks for the time this place is an awesome resource.

        There’s two active AOMCI chapters in MI, and there’s one listed in Indiana.
        Hopefully they have contact information.

          exactly was “rebuilding” is intended ….total  as in  pistons, cyl rebore, repaint    etc… or   carb/ignition/gearcase  stuff ??
