Hey fellas I’m trying to answer a classified add with no response its the one with multiple evinrude/johnsons the contact said tony allaire posted on 3/26/22 the add said hes moving and needed help with his outboards i just received my 2022 membership directory in the mail and couldn’t find that name , first question is are the classified adds for members only and second question anyone know how to reach him thanks in advance

I have responded to ads in the past and gotten no reply, too. Other times, I have gotten a reply. I can’t explain it, other than I just figured the particular person didn’t want to answer. Maybe it’s the way his computer is set to filter things, and he never sees my response? I have noticed that this sometimes-reply situation also happens on Craigslist. Whatever it is that happens, it’s pretty frustrating.

The post includes the authors name and location. I tried googling that and came up with various information that would possibly lead to alternate ways to contact him.
Posters in the Classified section do not have to be members. Anyone can post there once they have registered as a user on the forum.
