I just bought an old motor and trying to find out the year and hp.  I got it started and seems to run well and looking to sell. I bought in a package deal and I’m guessing it’s too small for my needs.

Serial and model number would say its a 1949 year model 5hp.

TD20 , a pretty common but good running motor, if in good cosmetic condition , complete with lower hood shrouds… worth maybe $50 – 75 … depends a lot on location. Less here in S-E Michigan and mid-west.
