This is a bit of an odd one for me. I’m working on this motor for a coworker and I’m trying to get the gas tank and shroud off of it without damaging it. Does anyone know how this is supposed to come off? It seems like the plastic / rubber "closure" as it is called in the parts list has to come off first. I’m not sure if I can even get that off without damaging it. Maybe a heat gun would soften it enough to remove it without hurting it too much. If someone knows, any help is greatly appreciated.
