The oldest a 6039 Speeditwin could be is 1939. It was the first Speeditwin with a one piece cast muffler. The Speeditwins of 1936, ’37’ & ’38 were Eltos. The Speeditwin tank held two and a half gallons, the Speedifour/Big Four held four. So although the tank decal would fit a Speedifour, it is still incorrect. All the decals I have seen have the name of the motor on the side . . . 🙄
