I’ll soon be getting my hands on a 1/2 hp Evinrude Cub. I don’t know the year. From the pictures the motor seems complete but has been in storage for about 50 years. My objective is to restore it to running condition. My internet searches have found these engines sometimes have weak spark and/or low compression. If either of these conditions are true, any suggestions on a remedy? Also anyone who have worked on one of these engines, I’d appreciate any advice or pointers.
