Well I’m just getting into the start of restoring it . So I’m looking to at least partially dismantle it . I’m not sure if they made a manual for this or did you just have to follow the parts book . Example, removed the 2 nuts holding the prop on and prop still won’t come off . Don’t want to break anything. Thanks for the reply

If you have removed this collar and the
shear pin underneath its just stuck.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

I have not removed the collar , I’m assuming a flat screw driver and pry ! . Will try ! Thanks . I suspect that I will be looking for further help as I go , did they make a manual for these ?

This is the rest of the gear case.
You get to the set screw here.

The length of these motors are adjustable.
Loosen these 4 bolts and this assembly will
come out. It can be a challenge though
depending the condition of the motor. One
issue is often a twisted driveshaft having a
                      damaged keyway from hitting something.
