Just wired a surplus coil for my 1926 Elto as shown in video but now before I pour the wax into the canister I would like to test fire the plugs first. I’m still a bit fuzzy about which lead fits which terminal in the timer. could someone draw me a simple schematic showing the wiring starting from the Red positive wire and the black negative wire at the battery and going through the coil / condenser to the timer? Do I need to ground the spark plug wires to a ground somewhere? Obviously as you can see, I new at this’

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Thank you. I tested the one plug out and got a spark although I thought a bit weak but I didn’t have a great connection on the plug. Now I must go get a couple spark plug terminals at the auto parts store.
