Current project is restoring a ’26 Johnson J-25 Sea Horse Single.

Good compression, #80 lbs of compression roughly. Good points, good coil, bad condenser.

Cleaned out the piston pump, checked the check valve, and replaced the seal around the valve.

Missing a carb lever, and not sure what is going on with the muffler. Other than that, it is complete.

I’m not sure if the tiller handle is original, I believe some of them had wood handles, but not 100% sure.

Any opinions/advice would be great, thanks!

Not sure if the muffler plate thing is original or not, but it looks like the screen should work fine!

Decent shape overall, I will have to work on the tank some.
