      Have one that seems to have rings that are a little large.They look new and seem a bit tight causing the motor to bind a bit.Crank and pistons-cylinders seem fine.Seems like someone may have put in the wrong rings.Thanks

        According to the 1942 & 1946 Evinrude Service Manuals, only the 1929 & 1930 Lockwood Ace models use piston ring pn 100180, which has a diameter of 2.100 inches, with a gap of .005-.010", and a width of .1245-.125".
