Anybody have a quality picture of a 1932 Evinrude Sportwin Model 409 ID Plate. Mine is missing and would like to entertain the possibility of somehow making one. Probably not easy, but I would like to see what I would be up against.

My motor is missing it’s ID tag and I would like to know what’s on it!

Or better yet, anybody have a parts motor ?

      Happy Motoring,

      Mas

I think it should look like this one, this is on a 1931 model.

This one is on a 1935 Fisherman and I think it’s not correct for the 1932 motor

          Hope this helps.

Here’s a correct one I found on the Internet…but I cannot make out any of the fine print:

Seems the Fisherman ID tag is closer??

Is the tag made of zinc plated brass?

use the earlier (Elto Super C) style tag then.

I believe it is a brass plate, its very soft, whatever it is.

Sorry…I think the 1931 model is closer…not the Fisherman

I’ve got this but its not any better than the one you found.
T2"s tag looks like the same one to me.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
