I just purchased a 36′ Johnson model 100 1.7 hp. and would like advise on best method to remove flywheel (I have the flywheel nut removed) is it best to utilize the (3) rope pulley mounting screws and a puller or is it ok to reinstall the flywheel nut partially and rap on it with a hammer? I appreciate your time and consideration.
      Best regards,
      Neal

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
