Thanks for adding me Travis 😀 God only knows why I took this on but I’m going to try and bring it back to life, the pistons were sized solid and when I got them out one was a bit broken at the bottom and two of the rings were broken so I’m looking for replacement parts or part numbers or maybe they are the same as a fisherman or Elto I believe mine is a 4.3 hp. Any help or info would be great as I cant find much on the internet. Thanks again.

Looks like pinless rings with the gap overlap.

I don’t have my book in front of me but it looks like a long shafts in the picture.
          Definitely a project motor.

You could put an ad on webvertize for the rings.
There is a member of the Yankee chapter that goes by the handle Gizmoh that has a large container of small rings.
          Good luck.

The Lightwin, Fisherman, Lightwin Imperial, and Super Single shared that two inch bore piston ring in the thirties. Your model number indicates a 1936 long shaft with Battery ignition. Four point three horse power at 3,500 RPM. It sold for $100.00 FOB Milwaukee in 1936. Piston and rings are listed as part number 193390 and sold for four dollars . . . 😎

Thats a great help Garry thanks,II’d say $100 in 1936 was hard enough to come by 😀 I’ll have a look around for the rings how hopefully inflation has not hit them too hard 🙂

Otto Engine Works out of Maryland should have them by size.
