A 1937 Handitwin with this pump attachment
was displayed at a meet this year. The owner
said it was his dads and he believed it to be a
factory option. He said his dad told him it will
really move some water but he had never seen
it run. There are no markings of any kind on it.
My guess is its aftermarket, not factory. It wasn’t
for sale. Anybody else seen one?A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
December 11, 2017 at 10:01 pm #68507I’ve never seen one, but if I ever have "nothing" to do,
it would be a fun project to make one. It would be
a hard decision as to "what" outboard I would mount
it on…… too many options!Prepare to be boarded!
December 11, 2017 at 11:41 pm #68509It’s interesting but, what would you use it for? The pickup is to high to bilge anything. Looks well made though.
December 12, 2017 at 12:05 am #68510use it at a camp site to move water from lake or well.
December 12, 2017 at 4:09 pm #68531I would think it would be more for supplying
water than to remove it, emptying something.A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
December 13, 2017 at 7:50 pm #68575We had one on a Zephyr. Shot a heck of a stream of water. Used it to mix cement for the driveway and Badminton Court which would overburden our Artisan Well. Great for watering the lawn or putting out a fire. The down side it tends to dig a pit in the sand under the motor. Houghton is a shallow lake. we had to go out 200 feet to get deep enough water to start the motor. There was about two feet of water where the boat & Zephyr were tied to the dock. After a days running it was 4 feet deep under the Zephyr. . . 😀

of you for posting. Bet the guy that
had the pump would like to see them.A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
