Does any one know where I can find a point set for a 1941 Neptune 9.5hp? This motor uses the Eisemann 72E magneto. I purchased a set of points on Fleabay and of course they did not fit. Is there anyway to fit more readily available points to this magneto or is there a way to refurbish the one’s I have? I would really like to get this motor running since it had sat in a guys yard for about 20 years.

I will see if I have one tomorrow. It would be another used set if I have one. Usually just a good cleaning and polishing of the points surfaces is all that is necessary.

Does yours have a choke or do you have to prim it?

Mine was no prize when I got it either.
Its really hard to get it started.
I’d be interested in how yours
does when you get it on a boat.
Cant help you with parts. Sold
all my extra stuff last summer.

Must have sat for decades without a gas cap.
Just my luck too cause there weren’t any dents in it.
