I have a 1941 Neptune, The Water inlet Bushing, that is by the impeller, is that a metal coupler or a rubber grommet? Mine is missing, and Im not sure what it is suppose to look like. Is it like a hose coupler for a brake line, as an example?

      Thank you

Hi Todd, so its a rubber bushing (at least on yours) that connects the water tube, to the impeller housing? Thank you for your time.

yup mine just seals the line to the housing, but allows you to remove the gearcase if needed
