      Looks like an interesting magazine.
Wished there were a bunch archived
      on the AOMCI to read.

Garry, how many years did Evinrude put
      these magazines out?

The only issues I have seen are marked "Summer 1943", Summer 1944, Summer 1945, & Summer 1946. Four issues total.

Please correct me if my history is wrong, but aren’t those years the ones where they were trying to get back on their feet due to minimal retail production for the early years of WW2? So the factories were for war models not consumerism.

Seems like a good way to reach back out to former customers, and the general public to say "we’re still here!" and recoup after an impossible to describe tragic turn of historical events in our civilization’s history.

God help us if that were to ever recur.

The first ones I remember were from 1937, The collection was decimated when dad’s house was flooded by a hurricane. I did manage to digitize a couple pages. . . 😉

Those magazines would be a real treasure trove and a blast to
read. Sounds like they’re kind of "rare".
The "outboard / mixer" cartoon reminds me of the last
time I made cookies…… batter all over the kitchen,
and I only had a little electric mixer!
              Thanks.
