I am looking for parts for my 1946-47 Evinrude Elto Ranger  Outboard. Just got a gas tank today on eBay. Need the engine cover and the steering arm with the handle cover and all the brackets and hardware to attach it.
Also can I get points and condenser new   still? Any help appreciated.
      Thanks

points you will never find new, but you should not need new points as cleaning them up wills serve you just as good.  Condensers can be any old .22 microfarad condenser.  The ones I have and use on my outboards are said to be for the old 4-6 banger jeep engines and they seem to be a good size for fitting most outboards, but whatever looks good will probably work.

Depending on emotional attachment you may want to find a more complete example and use this one as a parts motor or vice versa, but if you can find the parts within the next few months it would be a good first antique outboard.
