Hello.  I found a 1946 Evinrude speedifour in rather good condition.  I have not yet bought a copy of the old outboard book and I am curious what a good price would be.  It does run and comes with a stand and 5 props.

Hey Waunnaboat, there are a lot of variables at work here. Location, condition, when it ran last, etc. The SpeediFours are interesting motors. Very heavy.

Basically it comes down to what you want to pay. I bought one 7 or 8 years ago for $50 in running condition. I sold it for $150.

The 5 props are probably worth as much as the motor.
