      I just got a complete 1947 Evinrude Sportsman model # 4416 and it needs some T.L.C. so what spark plug is supposed to be used in it? It had a Champion HIOC spark plug in it when I picked it up but not sure if its the proper one, I was told it should be a Champion H10J set at .025, please respond, thank you.

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

            I used a J6C in mine and it ran fine.

              The NGK B6L is also readily available and it has the correct 7/6″ thread reach.
