I AM LOOKING FOR DECAL PICTURES FOR A 1947 FIRESTONE. I HAVE SOMEONE THAT CAN MAKE VINYL DECALS IF I CAN GET SOME GOOD PICTURES. NEED PICTURES WITH DIMENSIONS.
      THANKS

I have one, but it certainly doesn’t qualify as a "good" picture. There is only the front decal, nothing on the sides. I’ll see if I can get a better shot if you have somebody that can Photoshop it.

Thanks for the picture. Can you get a close up of the front decal. How certain are you that it does not have side decals. Your picture looks like it may have had a decal on the front of the transom clamp. What do you think ? Do you know anyone that has a collection of Firestone engines, or maybe early Scott engines. Maybe the decal size and location would be similar.
          Thanks

Why don’t you confirm your decal needs thru a period sales brochure , ads, google AOMC posted pictures…Firestone is a bit of an orphan for repro stuff.

Here is about as good as I can get with what’s left. The motor is original, a model 133-7-477. There is no trace of any side or rear decals. Yes, it might? have had an instructions decal between the brackets on the front, but if it did it is long gone. The metal data plate is on the side of one of the stern brackets. Also posting a ’54 10hp for comparison. The script is very similar, but to me it seems a tad fatter. Maybe because of the different color and shading.

From memory the 1947 firestone catalog shows no side decals.

This isn’t mine and is the only image I have. I think the decal is identical to Frank’s.
