1948 Johnson TD-20 Coil

Can anybody tell me where to get coils/part # for a 1948 Johnson td-20 – they seem to be different from the later OMC coils – have soldered spark plug wire and 3 other leads. Can a coil with 2 leads plus sparkplug lead be used?

Yes. Two of those 3 leads are ground. They are combined into one ground lead on other coils.
