      As far as adjusting the throttle cable goes, there is quite a bit of play inherent to the design so I would say you should be fine doing it the way you describe as long as you can get full range of throttle.

      As far as getting the old jet out, you will need a bit that fits exactly in the slot, and a great deal of luck.

        Yes, I figured it may not be easy getting it out. I have a long Straight Slot for my impact. I plan to use it gently to nudge it out.

          I had some time over the weekend and got this beast to run, and to run fairly well.

          I have not had the time to look at the old jet, but hope to do that soon.

          Only issue I have now it that I am not sure it is pumping water. I got rid of just the bucket and modified an old storage box thing I have had for awhile (See pics).

          I know it is supposed to be like a mist while at idle, and then a nice stream out when more throttle is applied. I have looked over the Impeller and other parts, not much to them and all of the inlet holes are submerged and I also took the pipe off and blew out ever cooling hole with air and could feel and hear it come out of the exhaust outlet.

          Not exactly sure if these pump well in a tank???
