      Looking for a recoil starter assembly for a 1951-1954 Goodyear Sea Bee 5 HP. Please contact me if you have one or know of one. Just starting out as a first time hobbyist to restore my grandfathers outboard that was in the barn.

        If you haven’t already you might try posting your needs in the Classifieds section. There are people who are on there every day who never visit here….and vice-versa. Worth a try.

            Hello;

            I am a new member and starting my first rebuild of a 1951-1954 Goodyear Sea Bee 5 HP that belonged to my grandfather.

            Model No. 025-3568

            I am looking for the following:

            1. Complete recoil starter cover assembly ( this style is the cover and recoil that goes on top of the gas tank and wraps over the front )

            2. Carburetor intake cover piece ( a small triangular metal piece with two mounting holes )

            If anyone has these will to sell or if you know of a source, please let me know.  Also looking for advice on paint suppliers, decal repro set suppliers/sources and shop manuals for Sea Bee and Gale Mfg.

            Thanks for any help.  Much appreciated
