1952 Elgin 5.5hp Fuel Mixture

I have a 1952 Elgin 5.5hp, and I was wondering of what fuel mixture would it run best on? Thanks a lot.

The ’52 5 horse uses 1/2 pint of oil per gallon (16:1) while the earlier 5.5 horse motors use 3/4 pint. Here’s a link to some good info on the early Elgins.
