I just got an original 1953 Evinrude Light Twin, and it even has original cracked coils… a beautiful sight. Someone has taken off both carburetor knobs along with the choke knob as well. I wondered if anyone has a pic or knows what it had originally? I think it takes the painted [black in color] knobs, but want to be sure before I go looking for them. When I get it cleaned up, I’ll post some pics. Thanks!

Well from what I can see on images Google the knobs are black as you suspected. I am pretty sure I have several sets if you need some. Just got a choke knob & screw in a lot buy of stuff.

I have this early three horse carb sitting on the bench. I’m not sure but it might be from a Johnson JW though.
