      Hi fellows

      What would be a good source for carb packing washers for this outboard as the needle is smaller than what a normal carb kit contains?

      Thanks for any and all advice.

        Tillotson MD carburetor? Packing was OMC number 552070 (obsolete). But http://www.martinoutboards.com is reproducing parts for it.

            Frank, I’m trying to remember if the QD10 has a MD carb? When I worked on them many years back, I had more problems with the Primer Plunger O-Ring seal, and they are expensive as I recall? I was getting just too much air leaking by, and when it was changed, all was ok. My old notes show part # 302000, and upgraded to 375935 for this fat dia. o-ring. Just trying to point out to Billy to look here also.

              Thanks for the thought, but that is not an MD carburetor on your old Johnson.

                Thanks Frank. My 2 early 7.5 Evinrudes are MD carbs. Too early in the morning for me to reply "at times"
