Do the Gale 5 hp outboards (5S10, 5D10, etc.) share
the same piston rings with with it’s OMC kin?
The part number 41-333 ( 41333 ) search brings up
a chicken roaster, and nothing else interesting.
I miss mom’s Sunday chicken diner.
      Thanks.

41-332 translates to 041332, which translates to 378432 (set of 3 rings).

OMC System Matched Parts Lookup (Google) does indeed cross #41-333 to #378432. (Put a zero in front of 41 numbers). Not sure why ME didnt show that. OMC is another good place to cross numbers just like their printed parts book. In the past #378432 was packaged 3 rings to a pack, now it is 2. Not sure how many rings the Gale product takes? My book is a ’54 model break down. Ebay will have the rings from time to time packaged both ways. Usually at a great savings. If you only need two and buy a three pack I would be happy to buy the third ring. I am always looking for extra parts for these CD, LD and Gale products. Thanks!

Dan & Frank, Thanks!, good to know someone can figure out those
parts numbers! Not sure if I’ll need rings yet or not.
Just trying to think ahead. Using three parts motors
to make one good one. Some of the rings are stuck
rather stubornly, and may or may not be salvaged.
Have to dig in the manual now and see why the lower
            unit isn’t coming apart!
