      I have a 1953 Mercury Mark 5 outboard motor. The gas cap was stolen and I am looking for a replacement. As you are quite aware parts are no longer available and sparse at best. I believe the old part is #36-23338A1. If anyone has this or something which will fit I would be greatly appreciative.

        Where was this stolen from? Parking lot at a boat ramp?
